Utility Mapping

Recording a locate as coordinates tied to survey control and delivering it as CAD, GIS, or a point file, so the result survives the weather that erases the paint.

The field work is the same trace a marking job would produce; the difference is that every mark is captured with survey-grade GNSS or a total station instead of being left as a paint dot. That makes the locate re-stakeable years later, usable in design, and loadable into a GIS. Deliverables should be issued in the datum and projection the client's existing drawings use — a map on a different basis can plot a metre or more off the base plan — and annotated by quality level per segment.
